INTRODUCTION
Gramma's Medley Sweater was named for my Grandma. She taught me to knit and with every stitch on anything I knit, it brings back memories of her. She passed away the year I designed this sweater, March 2021. Even though she is physically gone, her essence will forever live on in this design and with every new stitch I knit.
Gramma’s Medley is a made up of series of stockinette, slip stitches, and striping to create a patchwork look without seams, kind of like piecing back together life during and after grief. The texture in both stitch technique and variegated color yarn introduces a playful way to use simple stitches while not being boring. Each section gives you some creativity to mix and match your yarn with different stitches, solid stockinette patches, striping areas, slip stitches to bring that pop of color and texture into your sweater!

PATTERN NOTES:
This guideline can help you find the ease that is right you!
Measure around your chest at the fullest/widest point.
Grab one of your favorite fitting tops. Measure the top flat, at about 1"/ 2.5 cm below the armhole. Multiply by 2 to get the top’s circumference.
(Top Circumference – Full Chest = Ease)
If negative number, that’s negative ease. If it is a positive number, that’s positive ease.
Sample photographed is Size 4 worn with 6”/15 cm of positive ease at chest.
