Tina Tse Knits is the creative space where slow-making knit design meets fiber arts by Tina Tse.

ABOUT: TINA (she/her)

Tina identifies as a queer American-born Chinese from Queens, NY, currently living in Metro Detroit, MI, on Anishinaabe Nations Land. She is also a part of Fiber Club* Detroit.

She started her career in the fashion industry as a knitwear specialist, working with designers to execute their knit fabric or garment ideas and working with artists that used knit as a canvas. Now, she works in the sporting goods industry, developing technical textiles for non-apparel applications for hockey and lacrosse.

Outside of knitting, Tina is passionate about sharing her experiences as an Asian American and mental health and advocate for diverse representation of Asian identity. Her creative work through fiber arts expresses her multiple identities, experiences, and feelings.
