Wavelength
Wavelength
PRODUCT: hand knitting pattern for Wavelength Sweater.

INTRODUCTION
Someone saw this design and thought it looked like sound waves, sound waves for voices. Everyone has a voice, big or small, and every voice has value and how we use it is important. Wavelength is the distance between peaks, like the colorwork repeat, or “a person's ideas and way of thinking, especially as it affects their ability to communicate with others.” I hope with each of our wavelengths, we are able to use our voice to tell our story, to express ourselves, to influence change, and to connect with fellow human beings. This sweater is designed to be gender neutral! Women, men, or nonbinary folks, this design is for people regardless of gender identity! Thank you, Serendipitous Wool, for collaborating with me on this design!

SEE TABLE FOR FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (worn with negative 2” to 6” of positive ease at chest).
PATTERN NOTES:
Finding ease right for you, a guideline:
1. Measure around your chest at the fullest/widest point.
2. Grab one of your favorite fitting tops. Measure the top flat, at about 1"/ 2.5 cm below the armhole. Multiply by 2 to get the top’s circumference.
3. (Top Circumference – Full Chest = Ease)
If negative number, that’s negative ease. If it is a positive number, that’s positive ease.
Sample photographed are: Tina’s is size 3 with negative 1” of ease. Michael’s is size 5 with 6” of positive ease.
