INTRODUCTION
A simple but engaging design collaboration with Less Traveled Yarn that utilizes multiple colors to create lines vertically and horizontally. Use full skeins or mini skeins and scrappy leftovers for a fun wrap shawl to cover your shoulders on chilly spring and summer nights or for transitional weather.
DESCRIPTION: rectangular wrap shawl with stripes of slip stitches, garter, and eyelet details and i-cord edge.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
YARN:
Light Fingering to Fingering weight yarn- single ply or twisted
Color A: approx. 400 yds/365m
Color B: approx. 400 yds/365m
Color C: approx. 400 yds/365m
Total yardage: 1200 yds/1095m
Sample in Less Traveled Yarn, “757 Sock” Light Fingering, 75% Merino Wool, 25% Nylon, 463 yards/100 grams
Color A: “Do Me A Solid” (teal blue)
Color B: “Brickhouse” (green with multi-color speckles)
Color C: “Studio 54” (orange)
NEEDLE: US 4 / 3.5 MM or size needed to obtain gauge
GAUGE: 28 sts by 40 rows in 4”/10cm (in garter stitch after blocking)
NOTIONS: gauge ruler if needed
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 16” wide by 70” long / 40 cm wide by 178 cm long
