I've got a lot of work to do!

I've halted a bit on self-published design work as I prepare for my Knit Stars workshop. The anxiety of being on film is very real and very nerve wracking to me. I got my wedding films back yesterday and they were absolutely beautiful! But I couldn't stop hating my voice. 

Anyways, I got these GORGEOUS skeins from Onyx Fiber Arts in the mail yesterday! (happy mail all around yesterday!) We worked together to create the colorway in the middle, inspired by my third cat, Ahri. If you play League of Legend, I get this question a lot, "Is Ahri named after one of the characters?" The answer is yes. I don't play but the husband does and that's where her name came from.

I've worked on design collabs with two other yarn dyers that also dyed new colorways inspired by my cats: Lunar Revel shawl with Cat Sandwich Fibers inspired by our cat Diana, and Luna Rising sweater with Peachy Skein inspired by our cat Luna! So here's Ahri inspired finally!

It's going to be a cardigan this time! It's playing with 3 different weights, bulky weight for the MC, worsted weight and mohair for the CC. I'm going to play around with the idea of holding the worsted weight and mohair together in some area and separate in others. It's going to be fun to swatch and play!

It's also my first time working with mohair! Love a challenge!
